About Kristina

Kristina Junker is the founder of KIJU YOGA. Her full dedication into her spiritual journey began in 2018 after a life-changing experience in Russia, where she met her biological father for the first time, a yoga teacher and musician. During this time, Kristina experienced a profound state of Samadhi/Shunya, a moment that opened a new dimension of awareness and transformed her perception of life. From that experience, the vision of KIJU YOGA was born.

Kristinas grandmother Nelly introduced her from early childhood on to practices that are deeply connected to the yogic path. Through her, she learned about the power of thought, energy healing, body purification, and the importance of taking care of one’s health and energy to cultivate longevity and vitality. These experiences shaped Kristina’s understanding of the body as a bridge between matter and spirit and formed the foundation of her lifelong curiosity for healing, mysticism, and energy.

Before following her spiritual path, Kristina worked for 12 years within the Government of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, specializing in human resources, IT, and in the visitor center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Although her professional life was secure, stable and successful, she felt a growing sense that something essential was missing. When she experienced her first awakening of Kundalini energy in 2018, she knew she could no longer live a life disconnected from her souls mission.

What began as a personal practice soon became her devotion. She started teaching small community classes, transforming her one-room apartment into a temporary yoga space, inviting friends and acquaintances to practice together. For Kristina, teaching yoga was always the moment where she felt one with the universe: a state in which everything else disappeared and only presence remained.

In 2020, after her own study and practice, she started KIJU YOGA and opened her first physical retreat space in Germany. Since moving to Dubai in 2021, Kristina has continued to teach internationally through online classes, mentorships, retreats, and her first teacher trainings. She spended the winter months in the Middle East and the summer seasons in Europe, hosting women’s retreats and her Teacher Trainings. This rhythm between continents has become the natural pulse of her life and reflects the creative, evolving foundation of KIJU YOGA, and we see – were we will go.

Kristinas teachings combine Kundalini Yoga Therapy & Spiritual Mentorship, always with a focus on self-reflection, mind awareness and emotional transformation. She specializes in working with the Energy Centers, in Shadow Work, and the Teachings of the One.

Kristina is a Yoga Alliance-certified teacher (200 + 100 + 40 hours in Hatha Yoga, Advanced Sadhana, and Pranayama) and has completed various additional studies such as Mystery School Training in Dubai and Kundalini Yoga Studies in India with Gurmukh – Golden Bridge Yoga School. In December 2025, she has completed her Systemic Family Constellation Training with May-Britt Searty, which lasted for one whole year. Beyond that, a big part of her expertise comes from her own studies and experiences.

Over the past years, Kristina has guided over thousand students of through her classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings. Her current work also integrates elements of the systemic approach of Family Constellations, which she sees as a bridge between her own roots and the yogic teachings. Working with the morphogenetic field has deepened her understanding of family dynamics and human patterns, allowing her to guide others with greater clarity and compassion. For her, this practice is both personal and universal, a way to bring life back into order and harmony.

Through her daily sadhana and unwavering devotion to the path, Kristina lives what she teaches. Her work is not driven by trend or ambition, but by the quiet wish to serve and to remind others of the beauty and power of an awakened life.
